He died in Indiana 29 August 1852. He was married in Morgantown, Virginia to Magdalin Willey (1771-1841), daughter of Absalom and Margaret Willey. He married Elizabeth Layton in 1841. The Hudsons lived in Virginia and moved to Indiana Territory in 1811. Ananias is a descendant of Richard HUdson (1608-1659) and Mary Hayes. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived in Virginia, Indiana, Iowa, Washington, Oklahoma, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Idaho, South Dakota, North Dakota, California, Hawaii, Oregon, Illinois, Kansas and elsewhere.
