Nelson is now a professor at the University of Washington and he teaches Science there. But one of the people that Nelson still sees in his life is Erica Frerker and she counties to adjudicate him really badly. The story shifts to a young 20 African-American UW student name Noah Matthews and he works at a Wendy's in Seattle and he struggles to make really good money and is around crime all the time living in the Seattle area. Noah meets Nelson while he working and Nelson starts teaching him how to be a better person. As this goes on, A killing around the Issaquah area happens as 3 teenagers are killed inside a really creepy looking forest. Erica also regains her powers and she becomes Magma Woman again. Noah becomes the new Nelson Fire and Noah has to stop Erica before she kills millions of people by dropping the sun on the city of Seattle.
