The aim has thus been to give comprehensive coverage to forms a foreigner might run across in Indonesian readings, from this era or from the past, but excluding classical Malay literature, Much of the Indonesian written production (written and otherwise) contains slangy, colloquial, and regional forms, and we have not excluded such forms.
