His only child, a Son, had recently gotten married and moved to Arizona, making it impossible to go visit during the Holidays. Being very depressed and afraid of going insane Tom decides to go for a walk in spite of the bitterly cold temperatures. While taking his walk, Tom comes in contact with a small group of homeless street kids. Before returning home he sees a small figurine in a store window, and decides to buy it. After buying the small figurine, miracle after miracle begins to happen. Before long Tom finds himself surrounded by a family much larger then the one he had before his Son moved away.
