The majority of the records are financial records (57 v.): tax books of the Assessor, writs of the Constable, payroll and account ledgers of the Treasurer. Two folders of Deeds for the Town Clerk contain those for land taken at Stony Brook as well as the only known example of the West Roxbury Town seal. Also within this collection are Official Reports of the Town of West Roxbury (7 v.; 1865-1869, 1871, 1872), the Report on the Location and Erection of a Town House (1866), and the Annual Report of the School Committee (1854).
