The story is inspired by the relationship between Allison and her Grandfather, Jonathan M.Harrel. With the help of her professor, Claudia Reder, her brother, Timothy Davenport, and several close friends this book became a memorial of his inspiration. Allison hopes that the positive influences expressed in the stories surrounding Jonathan's drawings continue to share his love for life with others.
