It also explains the importance of safety measures to be followed in workshop processes and details the procedure of writing the records of the practices. The tools and equipment used in each hand-working process are enumerated before elaborating the process. Finally, the book discusses the machining processes such as turning operations, the cutting tools and the tools used for measuring and marking, and explains the working principle of Engine Lathe. An appendix for advanced level practice and assessment of work has also been included.
