God does His things in one way, not two. For example, there is only one way to the Father, not multiple ways. When He commands, we must obey and follow precisely what He says; we cannot twist His words to suit us. I am a firm believer in salvation by grace through faith. I know God is loving, but do you also know He is principled? Why will God allow somebody to be stoned for collecting stones on the Sabbath? Why did He kill the sons of Aaron for offering a strange fire? (Lev 10). Why did He kill Uzzah for touching the Ark of the Covenant? (2 Sam 6:7). Was it fair for Ananias and his wife, Sapphira, to have died for lying? And this is in the New Testament. Throughout the Scriptures, we see two aspects of God: He is merciful, and He is the Judge. “The Lord is longsuffering and abundant in mercy, forgiving iniquity and transgression, but He by no means clears the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and fourth generation.” (Num 14:18). God is merciful, but He also rebukes the guilty. You better be on His side to escape His judgments because there is no neutrality in Him. I have a burden for my Catholic brothers and sisters because most of them genuinely love God and are committed to the things of God. However, they have tilted away from the truth of the gospel. This book will help you return to God, and like the prodigal son, God is waiting patiently for His beloved children to come back and embrace Him.
