Book excerpt: The Crystal Conclave was an experimental project in the form of a magazine, published in 2006 and 2007 in South Africa (Mid-Rand), receiving contributions from a number of innovative and interesting writers and poets. One of the principle aims of the Crystal Conclave was to make a contribution to healing South Africa; on an economic, spiritual, psychological and medical level. Although the magazine's primary purpose was to promote the New Thought movement in Africa, the project also attracted a number of writers and poets from the Mainstream.
