The project area is located on the western slopes of the Coast Range and includes 1,077 acres in the Hebo District which lie in the Nestucca River drainage and 2,831 acres in the Mapleton District in the Siuslaw and Umpqua river drainages...No cultural resources, either historic or prehistoric, were encountered on lands included in the proposed land exchange during the survey.
