Book excerpt: Study using consensual qualitative research and exploratory data analysis to describe the development and self-report of counselor trainees' atitudes towards LGB individuals. Sixteen graduate students in a semester-long class in counseling LGB clients completed surveys, and seven of these students participated in a series of interviews. Analaysis of the interview data revealed that particiants expressed more positive attitudes toward LGB individuals over the semester, expressed continued confusion about bisexuality, had more favorable attitudes toward lesbian women than toward gay men, and held certain stereotypes about each specific subgroup.
