Book excerpt: Henry John Parbery was born in 1820, probably in Finchley, England. His parents were William Parbery (1770-1838) and Martha Choice. He married Thalia Anne Cooke (1827-1910) 11 November 1846. They had four sons. They emigrated in 1849 and settled in Moruya, New South Wales. Henry died in 1855 and Thalia married William Jeremiah Bishop in 1858. They had nine children. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in New South Wales.
