On one hand, there is a chance of losing Jewel yet again, but not simply out of a relationship, but losing her life at the hands of either the revenge-filled, love-crazed Osiris, or his spiteful and greedy brother. On the other hand, he could stand aside and only pray that Jewel's love for him is real so that they could leave everything behind to live their own lives away from it all. With much more drama than before, praying just might not do much.
