She wrote many short stories dealing with the tragic and occult and was published in many of the leading magazines of her day. Beginning in 1900 with From Farm to Fortune; or, Only a Farmer's Daughter she wrote around 28 titles in the Marion Marlowe series. Her other works include: Death to the Inquisitive?: A Story of Sinful Love (1892), For Gold or Soul?: The Story of a Great Department Store (1900) and Is This Your God? (1900).
