The Board's goal in preparing these Procedures is to assist owners, designers, and citizens in the preservation of Santa Rosa's historic resources. The report is organized in to three parts. Part One consists of background information leading to the establishment of design review requirements which the City of Santa Rosa follows in reviewing changes to historic properties. Part Two consists of the actual design guidelines themselves which applicants should follow in preparing their plans and the City will follow in reviewing the plans. Part Three consists of the step-by-step procedures applicants need to follow in preparing and submitting their applications for design review and the City will follow in processing, reviewing, and approving their applications.
