The workshop was sponsored by the U.S. Army Engineer Waterways Experiment Station (WES). Attendees included individuals from academia, industry, and government with expertise in sediment toxicity testing and/or QA/QC. Topics included data quality objectives; biological procedures; sample handling storage and shipment; data recording, reduction, validation, and reporting; internal quality control checks; and corrective action.
