His calling enabled him to serve four terms as a missionary in Malaysia. During this time he was involved in establishing new communities of believers, organizing new work, conducting lay training, leading congregations, and serving as Coordinator of Malaysian Church Growth. Forced to return to the States, he continued his focus mission work through congregations, the establishment of the Global Mission Institute, and the start of a new church in Florida.
