Twin Rivers tells the story of Jessica, a woman raising her son alone in a remote town in south-western Tasmania. The Mayne Hydroelectric dam is on the verge of bursting due to heavy rains. With the help of two Hydro employees, the looming flood disaster is prevented. One of them, Tony, begins to fall for Jessica, but only time will tell if romance will bloom. In The Cat Woman, a rash of horrible cat deaths spooks the picturesque town of Northside, with no indication of who is killing the animals or why. An elderly woman copes with heartbreak and injury whilst rescuing abandoned cats to protect them. Her granddaughter joins forces with the local policeman to track down the killerbut there may be love in the air as well as mystery. This collection presents a series of dramatic narratives set in the beautiful countryside of Tasmania.
