This book was released on 1961 with total page 1 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The problem of the stability of viscous flow between rotating cylinders in the presence of an axial magnetic field is discussed within the framework of the small-gap approximation, i.e. it is assumed that d equals R2 -R1 and R2-R1 is very much smaller than 1/2(R1 + R2). The nature of the problem is shown to depend very markedly on whether the cylinders rotate in the same or in opposite directions, and the various approximations applicable to these two cases are discussed. Special attention is given to the limiting case of a strong field as omega-2/omega-1 approaches minus infinity. (Author).
