Book excerpt: Excerpt from Third Report From the Laguna Marine Laboratory and the Department of Zoology of Pomona College, 1915 During the six weeks of summer school of the past season (1914) there were in attendance about thirty students and investigators, some of whom remained until the middle of September. In addition to these there were several hundred visitors to the aquarium and laboratory, in spite of the bad condition of the roads. After the middle of the summer running salt water was piped to the labora tories and aquaria, so that it was much easier to keep specimens.
