As part of this project, a seven-day short story workshop was held in May 1995, in Maiduguri, Northern Nigeria. The workshop was attended by 21 local participants and was guided and supported by Nigerian author, Zaynab Alkali and Swiss writer and journalist, Al Imfeld.
