Book excerpt: Warren Pease is a comic novel about a twenty-something graduate student in history who also plays guitar in a bad rock and roll band. The book is full of hijinx and swear words, but has no sex scenes to speak of. There is lots of drinking, several scenes involving cross-dressing and more cussing. If you think your parents would object to the bad language, do not ask them to buy you this book.
