He settled down near his birthplace and passed the years hunting, fishing and running a few head of cattle. At age 93 Lew was inducted into the Round-Up Hall of Fame and for a fleeting moment he once again basked in the warm accolades, and then they faded and he was home again with only memories to sustain him.
